Message: <blockquote data-quote="FJRZON" data-source="post: 39008" data-attributes="member: 379"><p>Agree with Spine60 & XLR8.   IMHO the new ‘06 really seems to look less sporty.  The windscreen looks terrible along with the car/moped type mirrors & I miss the “shark gills” from the ‘01-’05.  Sadly, Yamaha is slowly turning this thing into a ST1300 and is looking more appliance-like.   Still a great bike, but I am not impressed with the direction Yamaha is heading with this platform.    Personally,  I think we all would be much happier with a little less weight, more power and H.O. alt for the gizmo freaks.</p></blockquote><p></p>
