Alright, almost every morning I see a black FJR with a top box on 295 heading south around Baymeadows. Usually a little after 7. Anybody here. I'm a former FJR owner now riding a black C14(found a really good deal). I'm always heading north towards Jax beach. Just curious if your on here.

Have been waiting for someone else to ask, but they must be wrapped up in holiday tasks. ("Wrapped up", heh, heh, heh. I am so fricking funny!)

If your location is Stevensville, MI, why are you "always" heading north on 295 at Baymeadows? Going home each morning to Michigan?

Jax is flat as a pancake, so your definition of "good roads" may need to change slightly -- away from curves and hills, towards scenery and solitude.

There are some great roads through the pine woods out I-10, and other nice ones that run between the coastal towns and along the marshes, too.

Hud, he's from Michigan. Michigan/Florida...same roads. 'Cept Florida gets it's salt for the roads from the ocean air...and it's warmer.

The question though is: Does he root for Sparty Green, or Maize and Blue?

Thanks, wheatonFJR! Since I've never been to Michigan, I didn't know. (Chicago and Gary are as close as I've gotten.)

Sorry for the late response, but I'm now located in St. Augustine, Fl. Just haven't updated the profile... I did my year in the Middle East so now I'm being rewarded with this amazing Florida weather for a few years. I work in Jacksonville Beach so I travel that way Monday thru Friday.

Welcome to Florida. I'm in Jax Beach and there are a few good roads around. Mostly scenic rather than curvy. Try CR 13 from 210 south to 207 along the St Johns river. A1A down to Daytona is nice but straight as an arrow. Just north of Daytona you can catch The Loop. A1A north to Fernandina Beach is also scenic. For more curves the area south of Leesburg has some nice roads and isn't too far away for a day trip.

Florida; Baymeadows is the upscale business area on the south side of town.
