No surprise, Keanu Reeves is a dumb as I thought. In a recent interview with Playboy magazine he talks about his "excellent adventures" in motorcycling:

"There are a couple of spots on Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills, where, if there's a good moon out, you can coast all the way down to the ocean. You shut off your lights and go. It's very quiet. You're guided by the moonlight. It's very pleasant... and you can hear and feel the breeze. There's a certain aspect to riding. You're getting away and enjoying nature."

And you really can glide from about Mason Road to the PCH. Never tried it, but I'll put it on my list for the daytime... ;)

twowheelnut...just hope you don't need power for a collision avoidance move or your life could become really, really exciting...more so than you probably want

And therein lies the beauty of using an old Norton for such an exercise. It's non-ABS, so it stops just as well whether it's running or not. And as long as Lucas stays out of the way, engine power can be restored by bump starting. Accourse, if you was really movin', you'd need the time to shift up a few gears.

There is a certian poetic justice to riding a Norton at night with no lights ON PURPOSE. :D

I see no problem with this type of enjoyment. Why judge him for this.

Many on this forum do much crazier, dangerous things and because they are what more of you do such as riding a R1 or Hyabusa on the highway which is totally unneeded but we do it we then judge someone else for simply using the moon light as illumination.

Whatever go judge someone else...
