Was thinking the exact same thing re: the money coming from the lawsuit.Roger's back!! How ironic is that? I'm sure some of the money he used to buy the rights came from the suit he won against AMA when they shoved him out last time. I think I'm starting to like the new AMA president.
I think this is a good thing for U.S. bike racing. And I think it's a good thing for the AMA too. Two thumbs up. :thumbsupsmiley:
Agreed. Let's hope they can. This is a pivotal point for motorcycle roadracing in the US. If these guys can't make it commercially successful, I don't know if anyone can.

Gun - was a bombshell in that it actually happened as they've been talking about it for years. This is a pivotal point for motorcycle roadracing in the US. If these guys can't make it commercially successful, I don't know if anyone can.

I hope above is recognized as dripping with sarcasm.

How about, "Crank it up!"
"Gentlemen, start your engines!"
I wouldn't say they screwed him over. They tried to, but, they ended up paying him dearly.Okay, I'm not a NASCAR fan, but I'm really encouraged by this. It's the same Roger Edmondson that built up AMA racing in the '90s before they screwed him over. He had it going in the right direction before and I can't think of any reason he can't do it again. He's also the guy who built the Daytona prototype series up from absolute zero. Jim France is the member of the family that actually likes right turns (the black sheep, I guess) and did four wheel road-racing himself. And I hear he puts enough mileage on his road bikes to put most of us to shame.
