Bought a another toy today!

A friend of mine was buying a new truck and I told him I want his old one! He bought a new '07 4x4 2500HD Silverodo Duramax. So, I bought his pristine '04 4x4 2500HD Silverodo Duramax! This thing is Bad Ass! He gets a new one about every 3-4 yrs. and he takes excellent care of his stuff. It's only seen highway mileage and maybe only used the 4 wheel drive 3-4 times and that was to get off his property during the '04 hurricanes. This thing's got everything but the kitchen sink, and it might have that too if I look harder! lol I stole it for what they would have given him trade-in, $20,000. Said he wanted me to have instead of the dealer. He paid $48,000 in '04 and $52,000 for his new one. I see them going for $26,000 - $30,000 on the lots and that's without a hard tonue cover, Bedrug, and pipe step which this has also. I think I got a reaaly good deal! Wife loves the truck too! Now I need to figure out what to do with the Astro van. Don't need it anymore! lol

As a Chevy Dealer, I can tell you, you got a great deal! That truck on our lot would sell for $28,900 at the moment....and we would sell it within 5 days! Take care of it and it will last forever. Don't forget about the Chevy 200,000 mile club.

Take the astrovan to little mexico and leave the keys in it,you'll be providing 15 poor immigrants with housing and transportation and have a tax writeoff for your loss.

Right now I only have two wheeled vehicles. My wife's car doesn't count. I figure in 3-4 years I might want a truck ;-)
