I know a lot of folks don't need an excuse to ride somewhere, but Athnes OH in mid July has an interesting event:

Since the 25,000 or so students are not in town, the local merchants needed something to boost sales and came up with this. It offers special micro brews from around the state. A big dance in the streets on Saturday night.
