I remember all the hype of the 021's when they first came oout... The rear was fine, But the front was SUCKTACULAR!

One can only hope they fixed that epic fail... The bar has been set by Michelin with the PR2, So anything less will not be acceptable in my mind.

I'm not ever buying a Bridgestone product ever again, unless I hear from a lot of people they make good tires again. The BT-021 are crap tires on my FJR-1300 and my SV-650. The BT-020 was ok, then they forgot how to make tires. Sorry, I'm a Michelin man now. (I even look the part...)

I am having a BS sport touring tire mounted on my Feejer on Monday. I paid $161.00 for the tire. Does anyone know how much the new BS (Feb 2010) will be selling for?

Normally I get Michelin pilot road II but they seemed to have raised the price of their dual compound tires by 40%.

I read a little from Bridgesone's blurb.

The Battlax BT-023 will be introduced with 5 sizes for the front (60 to 80 series) and 7 sizes for the rear (50 to 70 series). An optional specification will also be available for heavyweight bikes such as the BMW K1300GT (120/70ZR17 and 180/55ZR17). With a special pattern and cross belt construction on the front, combined with an MSB + 1 belt rear construction, this option is designed to give heavier bikes light handling, sharp braking and long wear life.

Probably worth ensuring you get this optional specification.

But I, too, will wait for others to try before I commit to a BT02-anything on my front.

It may take an OE setup to get a report on the tire! NOBODY wants to mount the fronts, do they?

Specifically if the have a model suffix that works for the Kawi C-14 -- that tire should be built well enough to be, at least, passable on the FJR?

Almost.

The '10 Connie comes with an updated Bt-021-U. They're supposed to be heavy-ST tires, with longer life. If that's true, I'll bet the 023 is a re-badged version of this new tire.
