So I test road a Daytona this last December and pretty much fell in lust with the thing right off the bat. Having sold my Yamaha YZF600R last summer, I knew it was only a matter of time before I picked up a track toy.

I suppose if anyone wants more narrative, I've got it on my blog. Now, on to the eye candy...

I love the precision of this thing. I know it would be hard to stay perched on top of the thing for more than maybe 100 miles at a time, but for the track, I think it's going to be perfect.

Marcos,

Schaaaawwweeeettt scoot there man! Saw that on your blog last night and thought...WOW!!

Congrats on the purchase. I hope life has been treating you well.

Thanks Rex. Things have been pretty busy lately. Yesterday morning we were at the Triumph place right after the opened so we could be home in time to get a busy weekend of dance final rehersals and recitals underway. With end of year for the kids coming soon, seems like there's just been tons of stuff going on.

Hopefully once school is out, I'll be able to carve more weekend time to get out and ride.

That's one of the one's I lust for, can't stay off of them at dealer ride days but never seem to get around to pulling the trigger. That color is gorgeous and nothing beat the sound of a triple heading for full wail ! Wish I had some roads around here to do it justice..

Nice ride Tejas, nice match on the helmet too !

May I just touch my tongue to the fairing, like it was a nipple or something?

LOL almost like a buttery nipple???

I've actually had that helmet for a while. Figure my noggin sticks up higher than the rest of me and likely needs to be the most visible and attention getting.
