another "unique" Patriot situation

the end "fitting" on the servo cable that the bead connector pulls on had pulled off

and suggestions on a fix / repair...something and method to attach it on the end that the bead connector can grab...fishing tackle item ???

Perhaps a piece of brass tubing (the diameter just large enough to fit over the twisted cable shown) that is crimped unto the cable. A hobby shop should/might have brass tubing of the size required.

it would need to be like 1/8" in diameter for the bead connector to catch it. It was a little cylinder of lead or pewter off the end of the cable before. .

do you think it could be big enough to catch the bead connector ???

I thought/consider a crimp fitting with a loop of light wire coming off that is fishing tackle leader stuff

there are copper or brass crimp pieces for metal wire...have to consider that the wire on the AVCC is heavy duty compared to stuff to catch fish

Once you have your cable legnth set properly use Loctite 290 on the allen head set screw. It will follow the threads in and prevent it from backing out. It is also the easiest Loctite product when you need to disassemble the fastener.
