Grady,

It looked like you hung the corners pretty good... I guess the Wilbers do help...I'll have to look into them as one of my projects so I can ride like you.

I'm with you-getting paid to ride this week. I figure I'll turn in around 2,000 miles on my travel voucher; more than enough for tires, oil change, gas, etc.

I was able to get paid to ride from Houston to Savannah and back January 2006. Since then my company has instituted a "journey management" policy which is intended to reduce the risk of its employees on company travel by prohibiting the use of motorcycles on company business. Not just for re-embursement, but for any company business. I feel much safer. :angry2:

I have ridden quite a bit since 2003 with my GL1800 and now FJR on business. I use my software program Drivers Log to keep a complete log of all trips both personal and business in case I get audited (plus it makes it easier @ tax time).

I am getting ready to pickup my Bushtec Quantum trailer next week with the FJR as it will be my primary business vehicle when I roll out my new reservation program and I have to travel to sites for installation + training!!

Best Regards,

Shane
