My Cycletherapist told me to confront my past and it wouldn't haunt me. Im not sure it this is what he meant for me to do, but some of the voices are afraid to speak up.

I do have a thing about fast blue vehicles and now its a 2005 FJR.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Berner-Garde Foundation

Petoskey, MI 49770

Local Man Bares All With And For His Best Friend

How do you get twelve men, from across the country and from all walks of life, to discard their suits and ties and pose nude for an attractive female photographer? “It’s not as easy as you might think,” according to Lori Jodar of Petoskey, Michigan, president of the Berner-Garde Foundation. “These are normal guys with normal inhibitions, but the moment we mentioned what it was for and that they would be posing with their dogs—and that the dogs would be strategically positioned in the photos—then we had their wholehearted and good-natured support,” said Jodar.

Established in 1995, the Berner-Garde Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to understanding and reducing genetic disease in Bernese Mountain Dogs. “All of the men involved own one or more of these large loveable dogs and once it was explained that the photos would be used for a 2006 calendar, and that proceeds from calendar sales would fund the work of the Foundation, the rest became a matter of locations and logistics,” said Roxanne Bortnick, of Johnstown, Colorado. Roxanne is the producer of the calendar and a Foundation trustee.

Mike Whalen, a Mechanic who lives in Dixon,CA, appears with his two Berners, Reno and Cash, as “Mr. September” in the calendar. “It’s an unusual thing for me to do,” Whalen said, “especially since the calendars are being sold everywhere, but it’s a very worthy cause and it was also a lot of fun for me and my dogs.”

For more information about the Berner-Garde Foundation, or about the “Bernese Mountain Dogs and Their Men” calendar, visit the Foundation Web site at www.bernergarde.org.

This was before I changed my name to HYCLE and went into the "FJR Group Therapy Program". Now my cover is blown.

Well, anyway, the dogs thank you.

Seriously, good job for a great cause. :clapping:

Hycle, you are the Man! It took courage to a) do this in the first place and 2) share it with--hang on, let me check the home page--4,793 of your closest friends.

I don't think anyone on this forum is more manly than a fellow who requires a two-dog fig leaf. :clapping:

Jb

P.S. With all due respect, when's Terrie going to be on a calendar? It isn't that I don't think you're sexy and all. And anyway, how come I get booted off for gay porn but you don't??!! Foul!

Since you brought up the number of people on the home page, I should have mentioned this calendar was for sale on Ebay. I think a few more than 5000 were sold. I know an autographed copy that sold for $250 at auction. I may have an extra copy just for JB. There was talk of a Women and Their Berners Calendar, but it's not out yet.

The photo shoot was quite an experience, with the female photographer, three female assistants, it was in a public park, a group of college girls jogging by, the sun was going down, I had to reposition the car three times, multiple poses, keeping the dogs in the right place, and trying to not look afraid.

You should have see the navy guy who had his photo shoot on the docks in Oakland, and he only had one dog.
