Calling on you mountain bikers...

I know some of you guys do some mountain biking. I was out the other day and tacoed my front wheel so now I'm looking for a wheel set. I'm not looking for anything racing, super light. Looking for more durable and upgrade my stock setup (DT Swiss). A nice wheel set can be kinda pricey so I figured I try my luck here first. I have a Scott Scale Elite 29". I'm wanting to go tubeless. I've been looking at a set of Mavic Crossmax but they are more than I want to spend. I found a set of Stan's laced to Sram X9 hubs for a reasonable price at my local bike shop but not to keen on those hubs. If they were on a set of Chris King's or Shimano XT I'd snatch them up in a hart beat, I'm sure they would be as much as the Mavic set though...

Does anyone here have a set they might want to part with?

Too bad you don't need a set of single speed wheels. I have a set of 26" single speed wheels that I want to sell and they are King/Mavic combo. If I were in our shoes, I'd pay for the a pair of Mavic wheels and King hubs. I love mine!
