Looking to purchase a Shoei Multitec as it has been the best fitting for me (a bit pricey though). Nevertheless, I have a Noise atenuating Autocom headset installed on my KBC full-face and will be transferring it over to a new helmet.
2 1/2 questions:
1) It is not the boom mic used on open face helmets. Can it be adapted to modulate with the front of the helmet? That is, if it is velcro'd to the inside front, will I be able to run the wire in such a way that I can still freely open and close the front face?
1/2)Or, should I not velcro it to the front face, but fasten it to the main body and allow the mic to be free from the front face...Like an open face helmet mic?
Just went to the Autocom site where it states that the mic is universal for all open, full face, and modular helmets.
2) Any difficulty running the headphones and wiring up in the helmet?
Thank you.
