That is bummer it got canceled. The Rock Inn is only twenty minutes from where I live. It would nice to meet some of the "legends"in person. I guess I'll take a short trip out there tomorrow or Monday since I don't have to work.

I know.... He is in AZ right now and is supposed to call me this afternoon about Sunday.
I am NOT holding my breath.

R
I called, ya *******! And all I got was voice mail.

So I says to myself, "If that ****** can't even answer the phone, how the hell is he gonna keep up with me on a ride?"

...So I left a message telling you I couldn't make it. Gonna just burn for home today.

Rolling out of lovely (in the dark) Tempe in a few minutes.

Well As Barry said this is now officially CANCELLED for Saturday......Due to lack of interest.
OM may be in the area Sunday so we may ride somewhere then I will let you know.

Fairlaner: Old Michael just called me from Tonopah, Arizona; 0600 Mountain Time. We had talked last night about he, Seth and I riding out to Tortilla Flat for breakfast this morning, but he changed his mind and is enroute to California; his cell phone is on. Fantastic twisty 400 mile route yesterday, OM shot a thousand ride pictures!

Oh and Bustanut joker, Old Michael told me to tell you to **** OFF; from side of Interstate 10! He mentioned he won't be on our FJR Forum until Monday morning.

I want to ride the Kalifornia coastline. Maybe after the March 27th ride to Temecula and the Duc museum.
Big-D, I don't have to be back with my Son Seth until 1730 hours on March 30. I would be game to ride up scenic Highway 1 to my old hometown of Morro Bay, CA.

Want to stop in Cayucos to see what my ex-wife has done with my old beach house, I can take you on twisty roads over to dcarverLand, drink at the Longbranch!

I'm game for this also, Richard. Wouldn't mind combining this with a visit to see Don Carver, want visit the Longbranch Saloon; last saw it from a Sheriff's squad car!

HA!!! This is just too ******* classic. (Noting the time of OM's post, length of notice in post and an excuse.)

I told ya so, Fairlainer!

Looks like he did his usual 3:30 am short notice bailout even though he and beemerdons were supposed to ride, today:

So, one asks oneself: How is it that OM and Dr. Rich get in so much riding time together if'n they don't sleep in the same bed?

Richard - I just now saw this post. Bummer. I've been rather busy, but I need to ride.

Ouch! Well that didn't go off as planned. My "attempt" at humor went an bit me on the *** Not going to speculate as to why it elicited this response except to say I may have indicated to some that the ride was indeed put off..

Sorry Richard, I hope it didn't cause you too many problems..

Folks, sometimes even the best intentioned jokes go awry as indicated by last weeks "two Black eyes' Thread. You miss something with the written word when ya can't actually see the op..

As one who's always "tossin" **** around I'm cut of a pretty stout cloth so I'm not about cry or piss an moan about an *** kickin.. Hell, you have to expect folks to chew ya a new one now and then. ;) I figure it's worth the risk. :)

Next time I'll toss in a few more   or :p

:jester:
Barry - What are you, some sort of pansy? Go ask Mz Bust for ************ back and get back to insulting Fairlaner. :p
I feel much better now, knowing that the FJRforum is back to normal.... ;)

Yeah? Well, I'll be around and you can visit my "vitreous desert display" at the San Luis Botanical Gardens on your way through the area. I may even get to ride with you guys aways.
