I'm hoping to take this in but it won't be on the FJR, as too long a haul for that time of year from here. Will know in about a month if the timing will work. I imagine Gypsy will be there as he's virtually a local! :D

Yes I will be there. Canadian_FJR has booked a cabin somewhere in the area for us and few of his other riding buddies.

I am really looking forward to it. galxy5 I will be happy to give you information on riding in Maritime Canada. I am going down to, hopefully, take part in the Minuteman 1K in MA in June. Maybe I will find some very nice New England roads.

Thanks for the info,

I am looking for accomodations also, if you have any ideas of places I would be greatful for the info, ;ie,cabin or motel

can't wait for this event !!!

I have been to the Isle of Mann TT several times when I was living in Scotland ,,

to have this event on the north american continent is such a great thing!!!!!!

not many riders here have enjoyed the thrill of this type of racing !!!

looking forward to meeting you there!!

I booked a room at the Quality Inn, Sydney (902-539-8101). $113 Canadian (about $100 US) per night. I'm looking to ride there from California next Sept.

Also, I've got a room booked on the Isle of Man for the 2007 TT. Man...I can barely wait!! :D

Roger

We are to arrive at the motel on Wednesday, 9/20 and depart Sunday, 9/24. We were planning, tenetively, to travel through the Black Hills on the way east.

On the way home from Nova Scotia, we were thinking of coming down to, at least Annapolis, MD. My sister just moved there.

You stated that you've seen the TT in IOM. Any suggestions as to points of interest not to miss out on? The room we have is on the course at the bottom of Bray Hill in Douglas.

Word of caution, if you pass thru CT you will want to AVOID I-95 from NY line to NEW HAVEN, this is a seriously ugly stretch of *** fault.

GAPS,

thanks for the heads up,

I lived in New Haven way back in the late 80's ,, and commuted to the city 2 times a week ,, but always took the METRO North ,,

I will be taking an alternate route ,, I think it's the 15 ,, if my memory serves me right ,, I worked in Stamford and Hartford ,, I ended up in Boston from 91>95 but as I said it's been a long time since I have been that way !!

Yes, 15 is a better route thru the area, parallel to I-95 but a bit north. Im located just north of New Haven and prefer to avoid the SW corner of our state when on the bike. No real pleasure to be found there. Should you need dealer support we have Libby's Yamaha in New Haven, phone (203) 772-1112, good people there.

***** ,MOAN,*****,MOAN !!!!%#@#$**&^&^%%%$#@

Once again the insurance wheezzelzz have thrown water onto the hope that there can be a TT in North America ,, someone must have shown them a vid of the Isle of Mann ,,

but they will insure NASCAR ,, Formula 1 ,, MOTOGP ,, roller derby ,,

all I gotta say is there a bunch of ******!!!!!!!!!!

galxy5,

Make sure you give a shout before you head up this way.

Also I called the folks running the CB TT yesterday and there has been quite a vocal backlash after yesterday's CMA press release. They committee is back in negotiations to get obtain accreditation. They will have an answer sometime tomorrow they say.
