I know that several of you are going to do the MD2020 rally. Anyone here going to participate in the Cape Fear Rally in 2 weeks? I will be starting in Auburn, NY.

Mine's actually pretty easy to spot, by the way. It has Baker Air-Wings on the front and a "Top of the Bell Curve Rally Team" sticker on the back.

Have you looked at that starting field out of Auburn? It's a great bunch of riders. A top ten in that crowd would make me very, very happy.

I will watch for you. Mine has a taildragger tank, happy face on the side case and a plate with LD4FN on it.

I know of two other rides from Ontario starting in Auburn. Peter and Cameron from North Bay. Both great rally riders and I suspect they will both do well from their placements on previous rallies. This will be only my 3rd rally.....so I still have a lot of learning to do. It will also be my first rally on my FJR and will be my first chance at a serious shakedown run to test all the farkles installed over the winter.

Where can I find the list of starters from Auburn? Did not see anything on the Cape Fear web site.

I'll be the guy at the Super 8 in Auburn who wishes he was on an FJR. I'll have to get a Top of the Bell Curve sticker sometime soon. Although I expect to be closer to the tail this time.

 I haven't run a rally since last year's Cape Fear, so I don't think I'll push things on this one. I'll see you at the tail.

karstenp: I've met Peter and Cam at other rallies. Good guys and good riders.

chaz, kitty, squeezer.....
See you at the start or finish... have fun and ride safe.

you too! At the finish, of course. Unless you're going to Auburn via FL!

I'm really looking forward to my little vacation before the rally. Hopefully, I will be relaxed and refreshed before this one instead of harried and hassled trying to get out of my office and to the start!

Good luck everybody! It looks like the weather up in Auburn is a little unpleasant... Lucky for you the snow isn't until Saturday night! It's quite nice down here in Lake Placid!

Just wanted to highlight that our very own "squeezer" finished an impressive 8th place of the Auburn starters. :clapping: Incredible!

Way to hold the FJR flag high! Makes me proud to be a fellow FJRer

:fans:

Our very own Peter Behm finished second out of Florida. For Peter, that may be a bit of a letdown. He won it the last two years.

Oh Ms. Kitty... I understand the motorcycle gods punished you for not riding the FJR. Seriously, glad the flat didn't cause an incident.

Whatever happened to the top of the bell curve riders?

Your starting to put a pretty long list of top 10's together.

Congrats.

Me too. I was kicking butt and seriously considered just putting air in it every so often... But then I'd be in Wilmington with all the shops closed and no chance to get a tire until Monday...

Next time.
