Well I did notice this time, that the fork oil should have been changed some time ago, kinda dirty!

Of course, we have so many new members who might not have seen this before..... :rolleyes:
In my defense, I rarely peruse the Images and Videos section, and skip straight to the NWS **** in "Jokes and Fun Stuff". Thus I unfortunately missed this picture of the highly intelligent youth about to be tossed gently to the tarmac face first. I sincerely hope I'll be forgiven for the redundant post.... this time. ;)

But I do believe you're right; we have so many new members of late, they should all view this as a reminder to go out and practice those stoppies! Obviously, this fine young lad had not been practicing as he should, "did it wrong" and broke his shiny bike. Don't be this guy! :p

Ackshully....friend Marty.....

He was doing it right until the left fork leg snapped. Major whoops! How are you going to predict that occurrence? Except that a "stunta" bike survives extreme mechanical stress that most street riders will never subject their own bike to.

The only reason I saw it before is because I use the "View New Posts" function rather than going through every heading and section on the forum......just like I found this thread. :D

We need to solicit the opinion of some our forum's resident ambulance chasers, uhh, I mean "lawyers", to determine whether there's a potential product liability suit here. This guy may have a case..! :eek:

(As an aside, I can't help but laugh every time I look at thiis picture and see the look on guy's face. He completely gets the fact that he's seriously screwed while not yet fully comprehending how badly it's going to hurt. It so reminds me of a drunken bull riding incident in my well-misspent youth, that I just can't help but empathize..!)

"I knew I should have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express last night".

Or;

Helmet: $200

Gloves: $30

Leathers: $500

Visiting the ER room, "priceless" without medical coverage, "there is always Visa".

Yep, flame suit on now folks :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Splain this to me Senor Monkey- where on earth did you find a drunk bull? :blink:

Just wunnerin.....
Guthrie, Oklahoma, 1979. Now, my memory of the incident isn't 100% (hell, it's barely 50%), so I'm not entirely sure that it was the bull that was drunk and I wouldn't want to sully his reputation by implying otherwise. But one of us most certainly was... :glare: In my defense however, a couple of six-packs of liquid stupidity and a 1,200 pound Brahma bull looks, well, rideable (though apparently not so much...). ;)
