If I was living in that town and had a daughter that had to see it we'd have problems.
i propose that, if you have a daughter that saw it and it caused problems, you have even bigger problems than some joker with a snow penis. Spend a little quality time with your kids and explain to them that there's nothing wrong with sex or anatomy. It's natural and normal. If they ask about the guy in the truck, simply explain that many people have senses of humor that you personally don't appreciate but that there's nothing wrong with differences and free expression of them.

you'll end up with a much stronger and more adaptable kid when things are all said and done than if you try to protect them from a world that will eat them alive once their adults after an insolated childhood.

Thanks for saving me the grief of being the one who expressed this "So what?" response.

It IS in jokes and stuff. Serious commentary on how to raise yer kids not allowed*. Laugh or don't, please don't pass judgment.

It's a gigantic snow penis in the back of a pickup. That's funny.

Just adding some input to the safety threads that have been hot button topics of late. :p

Only meant it as a funny.

I for one am horrified and offended. I mean, do you see the way it blocks his rear view mirror and visibility out the back?

Be interesting to see who follows him...

That guy has such balls! Displaying his Snow Penis in public! Then again, if I had a **** that big, I would show the world too!!!!!!

Sounds great, and once I had that conversation with my daughter whoever made this sculpture and I would have problems. Maybe I wasn't clear in my statement. I didn't mean that my daughter and I would have problems. Not that I really think you were confused by that.

Thanks a lot for your proposal on how I can raise my kids so they won't have an "insolated" childhood. Thanks also for the information about it being normal and natural. I wasn't aware. And you are right, there's nothing wrong with differences and free expression of them. That's why I would be using my freedom of expression to let this hypothetical individual know about some of our differences.

P.S. It was funny. My initial comment was just me being a smartass. Then someone (Bounce) decided he could make some sort of assumption about how I will raise my kids from that one little sentence. Good luck with that!

Not at all. I was making a comment about someone proposing that such things are worth getting upset over. After raising 2 daughters (one in banking and the other working as a state-certified Nutritionist while getting her Masters), I hazzard a guess that my wife and my approach (as noted above) worked relatively well.
