CB Antenna Mounts and Trunks

I currently have my Firestick CB antenna mounted on a license plate bracket.

I've started thinking about occasionally using the Givi trunk from my CBR1100XX on the FJR1300 but realize that the CB antenna needs to be moved in order to clear the trunk.

What's a good way to mount the antenna when using a trunk?

If you use the Givi metal bracket, you can build something of of that or have a metal tab welded on it for the antenna.

I used Aluminum barstock from Lowes & put in longer screws to hold it from the Givi mount. Different CB antenna but the same method should work for you.
