According to the October 2007 Motorcycle Consumer News article, the wiring harness was constructed by master technician Roger Sinclair who mounted the Centech unit under the rear cowling behind the passenger seat instead of the tray under the rider's seat. He also added a 30A sealed power switch relay kit to provide further protection.
The Centech AP-1 is compact (3.0" x 2.4" x 1.25") and provides safe, fused power for up to eight individual electronic devices, including radio, GPS and other accessories up to 60 amperes
