What a win for the chargers today, I sure thought te calls were going to cost them.

To lose LT and Rivers and still win that was cool!

Manning and the Colts sure did have some costly TO's off of tipped passes....I wasn't in favor of one team over the other but a good win considering how banged up SD was with Rivers and LT MIA.

On top of that, the cowboys gave it away to NYC. I imagine the quaint little town of york is bustling with excitement.

New England will destroy the Chargers, and Green Bay will blow out NY next week... and then New England will romp at the SB...

So depressing...

So depressing with my Colts loosing. Our defense just didn't show up. At least Peyton had a decent game. Sure hated it for Harrison fumbling that ball. Oh well, at least his little brother Eli is still in. I'm glad for the Giants. Guess Tony Romo will be heading to Hollywood early!

I like LT but don't care for Phillip Rivers. The Bolts don't have a chance against the Pats. Sorry to say it, but the Pats will have a cake walk now to a 19-0 season. I would like for the Giants to beat GB, but don't think it will happen. It will be kind of nice to see Brett Favre in the Super Bowl. Maybe he'll retire then!

So are the Chargers toast against NE?

Well the funny thing is I have liked both of these teams for many many years.

My teams and there have only been four are as follows.

Bengal’s until I saw the bicentennial parade come through Cincinnati in 1976, then I decided I was a Patriot! Red, White and Blue you know.

Patriots, I have liked since then and still support them over all others! I remember most of my teams were always close but no cigar for many years and there always seemed to be teams that I just could not stand because they would steal my teams chances at championships....

St. Louis Cardinals, back in the day when Don Correll was their coach and they had Jim Hart, Ottis Armstrong, mel gray and terry metcalf !

Then when the coach went west, I became a Chargers fan too! Always like the wide open offenses he would use.

So Patriots are First, Cincinnati is a close second only because I grew up there and started watching games as a youth, Monday night football with Howard Cossell was the greatest!

Chargers are a close third and finally the St. Louis Cardinals, since they are gone..... they are buried at the bottom...

Now my most I can not stand them teams!

Steelers they always seemed to knock off my Bengal’s....

Raiders they always seemed to knock out my Pats and Chargers

Cowboys never liked them because they always seemed to beat my Cardinals and it serves Jerry right for the years of sub par teams for canning Jimmy!

Colts--- Mainly because I just do not like Manning!!!!! did you all see the oreo cookie add! what a funny thing........Maybe next year he'll lose some of these endorsements....

So Yes I want the Pats to go 19-0 first and foremost!!!! that would more than likely never happen again and we need to replace those Dolphins!!!! In this ages game even 17 and 0 is better than what the Dolphins did, back then certain teams were loaded and now with the players union and free agency this is unheard of......

Too bad I would like Farve to go out on top, but not this year.....

Most interesting match up Chargers and Giants with rivers out playing Manning, just because he refused to go there.......

I had a real problem with the officials when the Colts played the Patriots this season, the calls were really bad when it counted. I was amazed that the Patriots won, and these are my two favorite teams. I thought that the calls were bogus against the Chargers too and I don't know what it is with the Colts and the officials but they seem to have something going.

Now with Jacksonville out of the picture (the team that could have beaten the Patriots this year) and the Colts/Refs combo gone it is looking a lot better if you are a Patriots fan like me.

Anyone else notice that the teams who sat out players in the last game of the season did not do very well? Giants over Dallas, Chargers over Colts and Green Bay over Seattle? Seems to me like those who quit on themselves late in the season could not hang with those who kept fighting till the last play of the last game.

Weather forecast for Foxboro this Sunday is cold, with a high of 20 but the winds calm. We got about 8 inches of snow yesterday with more coming Friday. Patriot football weather! :)

Packer weather too...

Saturday's game was a classic....most fun I have had in front of a TV in years.

Dad was a season ticket holder, group of buddys held 6 tickets amongst 5 guys, so I got to see a pre-season game about every other year...post Lombardi late '60s to mid 70's and boy did we suck. You think Favre stayed too long, you need to Wiki Bart Starr..(actually, he is the only player to quarterback a team to five NFL championships...the sad days were 69-71 and when he was the coach....although we did win the division in the strike-shortened 82 season with a .500 record), but I digress...

NY will be tough....9-0 on the road this year. GB better not make the same mistake that the 'boys did in taking them too lightly. I know that Favre won't whine about poor field position in the 2nd half like Romeo did after the game (how is it that starting from the 40, multiple times, is bad position, or was he talking about sumtin he did wit Jessica earlier in the week...damn those *******!!)

So the AFC game will be shown live here at 0300 Monday morning. NFC will be on after, about 0630 or so. Havin a couple of buds over to watch the game, and I will fire up the grill and cook some brats (that's "A" as in awesome, not "a" as in ant).

So I will say my prayers for a SD miracle B4 bed, and then hope our line holds up for Brett, and he gets away clean with few if any TO's, if this is the case, the Pack will be BACK!!!

Maybe, maybe not. The G-men are not the same team now compared the start of the season when they got smoked by Dallas and Green Bay. We'll have to wait and see which defense shows up.

Did you say the Giants took it away? Dallas folded under a couple of pass rushes? T O, what the F ? Sorry I had to say it, I'm a Gaint fan.

Well, enjoy the moment. I can't see the Giants toppling the top conference seed 2 weeks in a row

Why would you want SD to win?

Wouldn't you want the Pack to have a chance to beat the best team in football?

Can't get this to work....hold on.............

Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.
