:dribble: ok move it if you must but how or what do you use to polish the wheels?
Clean or polish? Two different steps.

To clean, I use slightly diluted Simple Green in a spray bottle, apply before washing, rinse, then use sponge, soap, & H2O. Gets rid of most of the serious road grime.

Be careful of the solvents you use cleaning your wheels b/c they will wash out the grease. Maybe that is why some bike look like there is no grease on the drive or axle after only 5K or 10K. Instead, I use pain soap and water an dtake it for a spin after I dry to blow out all the trapped water. I would say that simple green is a mild degreaser and would take away drive gease.

Once they are all nice and clean, put a coat of wax on them. It makes clean up easier the next time. :good:

+1 on the Simple Green. BUT....Spray it on a good rag then wipe the wheel. Dont spray it on the wheel without washing it off.
