It strikes me I should have used this area to post about these lights in the first place, but my initial post was in "Parts/Accessories" on THIS THREAD. All the pertinent and necessary information--and pictures--are there.
I really said everything there was to say about the lights there, but I'll answer any questions you care to PM me with. Again, emphasizing the vendor offered a good discount ($400 for the $475 list set) for forum members.He said he'd like to get ten orders for a group buy, so if you want to contact him through his WEBSITE. Phone and email are given. Tell him you are part of this deal if you do. As to the getting 10 orders together part, I'm sure he'd hold orders pending till the target level is met, if you'd rather not commit before you know. NEW INFO ADDED 7/14: GLENN IS OFFERING THE DEAL TO ALL FORUM MEMBERS, PERIOD. JUST LET HIM KNOW YOU'RE WITH THE FORUM WHEN YOU CALL--AND IT'S FOR ORDERS PLACED BY THE END OF THE MONTH, PERIOD. SEE THREAD ON "P & A" FOR MORE DETAILS.
Since I haven't done a G.B. before, I hope this is a legitimate way to set this up. If not, I'm sure I'll hear from an admin soon, and I COULD be responsible for making up a list of names and everything, but I'd rather avoid being that involved if possible. But it's negotiable. Once again, no affiliation, no profit-sharing, all the usual disclaimers apply. Thanks.
These have been seen so far only at the CFR in Nakusp, and were very well received.
