Just got home from the Cleveland bike show a bit ago. It was packed and lots to see...lots of vendors.

I spent a little time at the Harley booth. According to the sign, the new "Street Rod" has some kind of billet crustaceans on it, but I couldn't find them anywhere.

The new FJRs were very nice of course. I can't say though that I saw anything that would make me want to rush out and trade in. There was one thing that bugged me alot about the AE though...that would be the location of the shift actuator (at least I'm assuming that's what it is) and it's proximity to the riders left foot. Certainly seems like they could have extended the counterchaft cover up a bit to protect AND conceal it a bit. Sure looks out of place and in danger where it is.

Of course there was no shortage of other scrump-dilly-icious scenery all around.

Lots of nice stuff at the Beemer booth too. But the k12GT was a beast! Much too Goldwing-ish for me. The K12S was nice, but the hard cases are a joke. Honestly, my favorite bike in that booth was this beauty.

I'd ride one of those any day.

People working most of the booths were predictably clueless about the wares they're pedaling, but it was still a good way to spend a rainy Ohio Sunday
