My work vehicle doesn't have self-cancelling signals, so its a habit to double-check them. Sure, I still leave them on every once-in-a-while and even on the bike. So what? I figure I'm getting even for all those who never use theirs, keeping the universe in balance. :) :dribble: :D

My XS1100 has self-cancelling signals that cancel too quickly, so I'm always having to check to make sure they are still on.

I for one DON'T want self canceling turn signals. There a series of traffic lights that I have to turn left twice on way to work, and self canceling turn signals kick off before I'm through the intersections (after waiting at the lights).
Besides, if you're not paying enough attention to cancel your turn signal, you're not paying enough attention to ride! (IMHO)
A slight disagreement here, I forget the turn signal exactly because I am paying attention - to the road and the cages there who are all out to kill me. :dribble: :D

Ok sometimes because it is a beautiful day and the sun is shining and you know.

Still I forget most times because I am paying more attention to the environment and situational awareness of which the dang turn signal is lower priority than the afore mentioned murderous cagers. I would like a self cancel that waited longer so at least I didn't get a couple of miles up the road with it blinking. Better yet, an audio reminder in the form of a simple audible click click click in my head set would be great. :p

All I know is that I want self cancelling signals. Why worry about cancelling your signals when it can be done automatically? There's a lot more going on around you while riding that you need to pay attention to. :bike:
