08 FJR with 26k. Just installed PCV and Auto tune. Running custom map sent to me by other forum user. Was running along highway 26 in Idaho. Cruising at about 110 for a couple miles when I saw my check engine light pop on. First time ever. Pulled over and shut bike off after restarting a number 24 appeared. Bike idles fine and I was able to ride the rest of the way home just fine. Anyone have a like experience? How do you reset check engine light?

You don't have a service manual? The procedure, while fairly simple, has a few steps to it. Assuming that is it is the same for a Gen II as it is for a Gen I.

My first FJR did this occasionally with the PCIII installed. A few others reported it too. However it doesn't happen to most of them. I would get the code and check engine light after a high speed run. Sometimes. It has to do with the ECE recognizing the O2 sensor is not working correctly.

Clicky.

Basically you have to reconnect your O2 sensor, warm the bike up to operating temp, and run it between something like 2500-3000 rpm for a minute or so, until the code disappears.

It's nothing to worry about. It won't affect how your FJR runs at all. I once ran mine with the code and yellow check engine light on for several thousand miles.

Do I have to hook the o2 to the pipe or can I just plug it in and let it read outside 02? Really don't want to unhook auto tune and then hook it back up. If I must I will though. Thanks.

Not sure, but I imagine you will need to hook the O2 sensor up to the header. Try it without doing that and see what happens.
