Must be down south. I ran the dorms in Fairbanks, AK for 11 years and we seldom had a resident bring a bike.

They obviously have more money than I did when I was a student! I did, however, have a 10-speed bicycle that got me to classes when the weather was OK. Not so great for a winter commute.

I see fewer sport bikes there than I expected. Nice collection. More money there than I used to see in the bike parking line at work, and I worked will tech. professionals.

Mine was a '62 Triumph 350 twin, bought for $500.00. It leaked like the Exxon Valdiz, but I was proud of it! WBill

My first impressions were like many others. Mommy and Daddy must be paying and earning well to send little Jane and John to school AND pay for those expensive toys. Heck, a lot of working stiffs can't afford those levels of buy in.
