Combat Touring Boot Re-Sole

It's about time to re-sole the old Aerostitch Combat Touring Boots, and I have to decide between the standard MX sole and the new cleated type sole. The new sole looks like it will give better traction for walking around. Anybody have any experience with the cleated sole? WBill

I dislike the fact it doesn't have a dedicated heel. I like that step or recess to place on the foot peg. My foot feels more secure that way, plus rocks, mud and everything else seem to stay stuck to the bottom of the cleated sole. I had mine replaced with the MX style sole.
