Come one, Come all...Ride & Eat in Ole Nawlins'

When the AIW (angelic italian wifey) and I moved into our humble abode, the Oliver Palace in the surburbs of New Orleans, we promised our maker, or the cosmos if you will, that we would share it all. So the open invitation to our cyberfriends to come to the Big Easy and take us up on our life long expertise with the area offered to each of you. Even Californian Tyler spent a wonderful week with us, as well as some Kentuckians and Canadians. I can offer ride escorts, taxi service, or just tourist suggestions and planning. I can even offer a sofa bed and home cooked meals as long as you don't mind 4 affectionate hounds hanging around. If you are on a strict budget, or umemployed or like me fixed income, share what you can do and afford, save up gas money, and come on down. Or if you are fortunate enough afford the Royal Sonesta Hotel, we'll be here for whatever plan you wish to implement.

So instead of formally picking a weekend with invitation like past years, I find the weather here can be variable, and others schedules might lead for any of you to pick your own date, or even last minute travel to come visit. If a group of you want to pick a date and come for a more formal rally, let me know and I'll do that too.

I'm will be attending EOM as it stands now...come visit the week before and ride with me to NC through the Smokie Mountians and roads I know well over Wed/Thur to attend the Gathering.

I've always wanted to visit New Orleans. In fact, we had airline tickets purchased for a trip in October '05. I needn't remind you of the catastrophe that pre-empted that visit
