But on the other hand If they made the busa with Fjr ergos, hard bags, adjustable windscreen, comfy seat etc.. I would prob. go and buy one of those.......but 160hp would get boring and I would be bolting on a turbo on that too.
Here ya go Kawasaki Concours :russian_roulette:

I wonder how many FJR riders will be lost to Kawasaki once this thing ships. Me, I just don't like the looks, way too busy. 2. I am a fan of Yamaha Quality. 3. How many iterations of FJ have there been? It is in a high state of refinement. This is really iteration #1 for the Concours since it is such a radical departure from the past)

Cheers,

Bill

Howdy BillyB, welcome to the forum. It will be very helpful for us to have some info on the year of your FJR and your location.

Take a look in the OTHER BIKE DISCUSSIONS to see how this Forum has researched and reacted to the Connie II.

Hi Alan,

This winter I plan to buy a new FJR.

Former multi-Kawasaki owner. Been there, Done that. Got the t-shirt. Will I have the FJR forever? Dunno. But I'm pretty much done with Kawasakis.

Nothing really wrong with the Yamaha (FJR) -- but, I'm still open to Kawasaki, too. I think alot revolves around the dealer working with the customer to get the importer (factory representative) to resolve any problems. There are good dealers and poor dealers and all brands seem to be affected, IME. The local H**** dealer put the wrong size tire on a riding partner's ST11; the H-D dealer gets bad-mouthed on a regular basis; yet, a local Kawi dealer went-to-bat for friends to do "policy" warranties.

Some models of some brands strike my fancy -- and, I wouldn't be against any major manufacturer (if I liked the bike....). , jmo
