I am thinking about getting a Corbin Ovalbac Glovebox, but they are $550 painted. I don't need, nor do I want, a BIG trunk. These things are four liters and they are lockable.

Careful with some of that Corbin stuff. A friend of mine got a set of those beetle bags for his Valkyrie and the fit was awful. A lot of work went into getting them fitted to his bike. They were around $1000 unpainted. A real rip if you ask me. It's funny because the seats are usually good quality.

The look is good if you don't want much capacity and keep the sporty lines. That is pricey though.

For Christ's sake, buy a tailpack or use a tank bag and use the extra $$$ for something worthwhile. Corbin has a lot of nerve asking 550.00 for that. Sheeesh!!!!

Personally I like the Smuggler instead, if I was going to get something like that... but then, I almost always ride solo.

If they made their Close Canyon seat as a solo seat, I'd get the Smuggler... but they don't. I thought about getting another seat, but I really like the Dual Close Canyon.

There have been a few nice Pelican lockable case applications that I've seen on this and other sights. Plenty of sizes to suit one's needs. You could probably mount it with hardware used for mntg "universal" racks or the Givi scooter line of top cases. If you you gotta have color match you're back to square one. Good luck!
