Had some free time and lots of sunshine yesterday so I decided I would check out a road I had read about on the internet. Cr-33 is located in northeast Alabama about 115 miles from where I live. Headed up thru Gadsden, then Guntersville toward Skyline.

Alabama's Dragon is more like a lizard. Does have some 180 turns, but only about a mile of good curvy road. So the day wouldn't be a total waste, I let the GPS take me back on a different route thru Scottsboro, Rainsville, the over to Centre and back down toward Piedmont. Had some good BBQ in Rainsville.

Overall covered about 250 m. and took in some nice back country roads. Just wouldn't recommend going out of your way to ride CR-33

You should check out Rt176 and CR275 near Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park. Some good twisties and sweepers in the area. Also some great views of the Canyon.

If you'd like around 400 turns in a about 120 miles starting in high desert and passing thru 9000 ft then Arizona 191 from Morenci to Alpine is just the ticket. Awesome tree lined tight twisties opening up to high speed sweepers at the top......No semis allowed either....

Is it safe to assume you've ridden 49 since you're so close? Pretty good road.
