There is a very plausible scenario for the boot and shoe: He wore boots to ride but carried shoes to change into when the ride was over.
Agreed, but then where is the other shoe, and the other boot. I would be more willing to pick them up then drag the guts into the pile.

In one of the pics from the other side, you can see some things off to the left that could be another boot. Hard to say though from the distance of the pic.

But in case one wonders how bad it can be, these pics should slow you down on the way home. WARNING-these are bad, and it is not a joke or a fooled ya series. Found while looking for something else.

Ride smart, ride safe. As I understand, this happened in OK.
Where is the ambulance when you really need it?

Don't think the ambulance was gonna be a whole lotta help, unless someone stubbed a toe picking up the pieces. I'm wondering where the Supe was when Jimmy Olson there was deep in the ****.

the photos are a mash-up of two unrelated events...

the body parts are from a power point presentation that was given to me by a military friend, in the context of rider safety...

when i get home next week, i will try to post the file for downloading...

somebody please remind me next week...

? Not too sure I got that one. I always back Jimmy up. And he needs it all the time.

(This time I was probably with Lois)

It's for sure those pics have been around awhile. I have one on my puter of the pile that I took off of useless junk dated Jan/04.

Fake. Last time I saw these (on another forum) someone in the know said they were from a movie set he had worked on.

It's on his other, missing leg.

OK. I can see crashing at a buck-20 doing some serious damage, but it looks to me that he hit something other than just pavement like a truck. Seriously he looks like some deer or something than got run over. I mean you see guys get off at high speeds all the time at the track, and a lot of them get up and walk away. Something cut that guy in half and I doubt it was from sliding across the asphalt. IMHO
Yeah, I'm thinking he tangoed with something with no mercy.
He might have eaten a bowl of beans for lunch and exploded prior to the bike hitting a tree and catching on fire.

I would say there are some back woods places that might pile everything up after an accident and even throw in some things found along side the road that did not belong to accident scene. I think that it is safe to say that most of us would be in an accident that is remotely simular to this guys bad day. It is possible that this guy hit a solid object at 120 plus and his body explode like that but it also looks like there might have been a very large truck involved.

That's pretty old. There are some pics somewhere of the bike closer up. It's a Doocati and purportedly he was going all the bike was worth when he lost control. Bike started the fire in the trees, he obviously hit trees / signs / guardrails / whatever. I'm sure that's not all the pieces there in the picture. I'm pretty sure he was being dismembered for quite a distance.

But I do remember one pic of the pile with the bike in the background so I don't think this is staged. Everyone is a skeptic on the Net anymore, what with all the real fakes (Huh?) out there. A buddy of mine was videoing with a new pencil camera mounted down low on his lower fairing of an F4i when a small deer ran out in front of him, flipping the bike over. The video (deerslayer) made it all over the Internet / world / every bike board out there for the past 4 years and immediately was called fake. It's been called faked over and over, but it did really happen. And there were some folks you couldn't convince.

Clear lack of core strength. Man he's ripped though.

The thing about all these scary photos (or fakes) of motorcycle crashes is that you can find stuff just as bad (or worse) involving cars, planes, trains, bicycles, skateboards, hang gliders, smoking cigarettes, eating fast food, feeding bears, nuclear weapons, etc. etc. So ultimately they are meaningless except at a visceral level. People have been finding gruesome ways to die for millions of years.
