My 2008 handlebars starting creaking recently.I have 11000 miles on it. I couldn't see any issues. finally started handling oddly. upon close inspection, the top fork bracket ,that the handle bars mount to, one screw was completely missing(hidden behind throttle cables on right side) and left screw had maybe a thread or two of contact. pretty nerve racking and annoying. I went over the entire bike this weekend but found nothing else loose fortunately.
