The answer for me is some Darien (by Aerostich) pants and jacket.

Bike Effects, is right, "stich" stuff is hard to beat. If you're just looking for rain protection, Frogg Toggs are hard to beat.

I've already got an aerostitch roadvrafter and am looking for something lightweight and breathable that can go over the roadcrafter in cooler weather (so my crotch doesn't get wet) or over my vent jacket in the summer.

Another vote for Frogg Toggs. Lite weight, easy to store. Got caught this summer in a good soaker, and was dry for the entire day...

which frog toggs are best? they have several models including a new high-end one...

I just have the standard 2 piece suit. Was about $60 and have had it for 3 years without any problems.
