I want some breathable (gortex) rain gear that accomodates my stubby legs (28 inseam). Suggestions?

Bike Effects, is right, "stich" stuff is hard to beat. If you're just looking for rain protection, Frogg Toggs are hard to beat.

I've already got an aerostitch roadvrafter and am looking for something lightweight and breathable that can go over the roadcrafter in cooler weather (so my crotch doesn't get wet) or over my vent jacket in the summer.

Another vote for Frogg Toggs. Lite weight, easy to store. Got caught this summer in a good soaker, and was dry for the entire day...

add another one to the Frogg Togg's. Used exclusively as rain gear, they are awesome.
