well, I am very happy that Cycle World said so many nice things about the Old Dominion ,, about how beautiful it is here and the twisty roads ,, and even a pic of Floyd Va. near Tuggles Gap on rt 8 & 221

but ,, you know how thats going to effect the roads this spring?? I happen to like no one but me on those twisty back roads ,, now there's goin to be all these "other" riders in my back yard !!!!

I am finding that if I ride away from the metro area, about 50 or so miles out, the sport bike and cruiser traffic really start to thin out. Guess they are not comfortable enough for the long haul. :haha:

Plenty of empty roads then.

Except for the farmers.

And the wild life.

It looks like any highway in Nevada. Probably W.C.'s high desert secret test track somewhere in Eastern WA. After awhile all high desert highways have their places like that.

I think every state has stereotypes waiting to be disproved. We have a few ourselves here in the PRK.

well, Deliverance was shot in Arkansas ,,

but yes ,, we here in the Old Dominion love shine ,, I like good ole peach shine or Franklin County "Fire Dog" myself

we also love racing at VIR and Martinsville ,, but mostly we just love to ride ,, check out the posts regarding the Old Dominion FJR Riders Group ,, we rode ,, we laughed ,, we drank some beer and had a couple of meals ,, and made some new friends ,, and no we did not violate or skin the "Yankees" that came down to ride with us ,, we even went into West Virginia ,, and survived !!!
