Just came back from a test drive in my dads old car. My dad bought this car new and I got it in 1992 when he died but was a partner with my brother so nothing ever happened with it. After I moved I took sole possesion and have been slowly getting it roadworthy. It will never get restored cause then it would be to nice to drive but it will get semi restored and it along with my 55 F100 will be my main drivers. I will get some pictures soon if anybody is interested. :yahoo:

Interested? Man, please. How dare you even post a post such as this without pictures! Now go get the camera!

My step dad used to have a 48 Ford Sedan. Then we had a 32 Ford 5 window coupe. Two Henry J something or others that never got fixed up. And finally a 56 Ford Victoria two door hard top. I used to love rolling around in those cars. Someday when I find a new job and can afford such a hobby I would love to do a street rod of my own.

Hopefully this will work. I have been trying for an hour.

I am not sure how to make them bigger but this is a milestone getting this far.

Very cool. Now, just to master the insertion of the big pics. These things have got to be even more cool when larger!

It looks like your photo account has been set to the smaller pixel size.

That car is almost as old as I am. :dribble: What's the bike...Norton?

I thought I reset the picture size but I will look again.

The bike is a 1967 Royal Enfield 750 Interceptor. According to Cycle World It was the fastest production bike at the time. I have had it to 105 on the gps and it is scary and it vibrates so bad you can't see but it sure is fun.

Very cool looking car, I too have a car that was my father in-laws he bought it new Dec 13th 1963.

it is a 1964 ford fairlane that was completely stock when i got it. Currentlly it is anything but stock, it has new paint new interior and a 408 small block that is making 450hp at the rear wheels.

enjoy the car, as you probably already know that are never finnished and never cheap.

here is a car craft article from June last year.

Very nice collection of fun rides Ray, thanks for sharing those. Its pics like yours that make me start thinking GARAGE EXPANSION....

Business Coupe with a flattie, oh, the memories! Campaigned a 47 Turtleback with a 57 Chev drivetrain in the late sixties. Would be considered a ratrod today, but to me then it was heaven, and Garlits had better watch out......
