im glad no damage to you.... that's the best.

as far as the bike goes... hopefully insurance will total it out, and there are untitled '06s out there -- so -- materially, you should be fine.

What part of rear brake? I don't know any part of the rear brake that attached directly to the frame. The pedal and footpeg are mounted to a replaceable part. The guide rod is attached to the swingarm.

More details...

Sorry about your accident your ok all said and well.

Do not beat yourself up and play that should-of - would-of game with yourself.

I hope your bumps and scrapes are small ones LRIDER

.......... ("two kinds of rider ... etc....") - like weekendrider said - don't beat yourself up. Just be glad it was one of those ones you can walk away from.

In fact - it's brilliant news that your biggest worry is damage to the bike.

keep yir chin up! - Bull

Glad to see that you are okay. Don't waste your time worrying about the bike cause it's on the person that made the turn in front of you. Just let the Yamaha shop handle the bike.

I had a car do the same thing on me, (right-hand turn from the left hand lane tho) and I did not even fall down but there STILL was 1,900.00 worth of damage to the bike and I did not even have the bags on. Shucks, that would have been another 800.00 or more.

A. Don't make any statements to their ins. company unless they are accepting fault. And, tell them that up front.

B. If you don't like the way they MIGHT be trying to get out of paying you, let your Ins. co do the repairs and then they can duke it out.

1. Dude hit me at 2:00 P.M.

2. Dude's ins. co calls me the next day at 9:00 A.M. and wants a statement.

3. I tell them that he made a right hand turn into a strip-mall from the left hand lane with me next to him.

& that I think I will be okay but that I did not even wanna be bothered with them If they are not accepting

full responsibility for accident.

4. I then tell my agent about said and told him that I would let them handle it if they are going to pay for

EVERYTHING. And, if not I would let my company/them handel it.

5. Had the check for bike repairs 2 days later.
