I finally found a good deal on an '06A, get things mostly squared away with my bank. They tell me they need the VIN to finish some things up. I go to call the seller and get that info and..............

"The person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time. Please try your call again later."

Bummer. Back to waiting.

You might try calling him back shortly. I often get calls when I can't answer at that time and my Droid phone offers options for messages to send to the caller when I chose "Ignore" on my phone. Maybe he's in a meeting at work?

Off on a tangent, but why is it that people always call while I'm "dropping the kids off at the pool" or washing my hands afterwards? I refuse to answer the phone and have a conversation while sitting in a stall! :dribble: And obviously it's not prudent to answer the phone with wet hands dripping with soap.

You may want to consider yourself Lucky... for this could be a Scam and you are not the Fish they were looking for.

I know one thing: when I'm selling a vehicle of any kind, and I'm waiting for a phone call, I make ABSOLUTELY SURE that there's no way in this world I miss any calls from that one number that matters: the buyer. Learned that lesson once, and that's enough. People can change their minds in a hurry when a better deal is discovered. Hope everything comes together for ya. But if nothing more, it gives you a little extra time to cruise the forum looking for other deals, or just making sure that you're getting a good one. Besides: you can start deciding what farkles to work on first???
