O, Woe is me!!
First I had a crash and another crash and had to replace plastic and gear, then I had a starter issue, then there was an oil leak, and now this **** starts up.
I'm now having to fix more than one whole thing a year on this POS motorsickle. Tired of it! Sick of it! I may actually have to miss a riding Saturday to do this work! :glare:
Anyway, I've apparently blown the seal on the right fork, probably on my little bridge ride this past Sunday, the only long (ish) ride I've had in weeks. I was afraid I had a brake problem because the caliper is just covered in goo, but as I looked around, the amount of goo on everything would have drained the reservoir, and it smells wrong, so it's not brake fluid. Look around some more, and when I get to the top of the fork all becomes clear. At least fork seals are cheaper than brake lines, if a bit more work to install.
