Even though I think watching them for entertainment is somewhat sick, I do show them to my wife to point out mistakes that were made by riders. I would say 90% of the crashes could be avoided with prudent, safe driving.

Hard to believe how people drive on the streets, most of which looks to have been avoidable.

LKLD is exactly on target. Most of those crashes were avoidable by the rider. I liked how the second video started with a dipshit riding like an ******* and then dumping his bike. He had it coming.
The only one I felt bad for was the crash where a group of people were crossing an intersection, a white car was making a left, and a bike t-boned the car. Looked like the female passenger in the neon green shorts was seriously hurt. She smacked the pavement very hard with her head.
She is the reason I want my daughters riding with me. I want them to learn a couple things:
1: Don't get on the back of a bike ridden by a douche bag.
2: Always wear a helmet and gear. Even if the bike rider doesn't make a mistake, someone else can.

I usually don't watch this stuff but it is a good reminder/wake up call now and again. It's amazing some just got right up although I know they are sore.
It does show how being an ATGATT rider can save your ass.

Cages containing idiots
All but the last one are things we can do something about.
And even then, we can anticipate what cage drivers might do.

I don't usually go voyeur on these videos, but as Teehaml noted above, it might be constructive to now and again be reminded just how much that's gonna hurt, and how long that's gonna take to heal. Yep, ATGATT, keep your head in the game, ride your ride, expect everyone to try to kill you, ad infinitum.
