Daytona 200

There are a crew of us that get together every year to watch the Daytona 200 (on TV) but it looks like SPEED is not showing it until the next day this year. If anyone can confirm when it will be televised please post up.

I can't say for sure when it will be televised but in the past few years there have been some long stoppages during the race for various reasons. This happened a couple of years ago when I was at Daytona due to a tire selection issue. Because it took so long for the race to get started again they had to shorten it to prevent running out of their alloted air time.

By televising it the next day they can edit the race and keep it within the alloted time if something like this were to happen again.
