I'm just an hour and a half from the Big D, but I ain't goin'.
Too many poser bikes with poser riders haulin' old fat chicks wearin' not enough clothes to cover their cottage cheese thighs and hips.
I'm fat and outta shape, too, but at least I'm not exposing my hideousness to the world like them gruesome cruiser hags do. :bad:

I'll be going up. I also have a friend coming from up north to stay with me. He also has an fjr. I'm in Orlando. He and I will be doing some riding will he is down here. Some local and at least one day trip. Ride to include some of the best twisty roads we have here in central florida. The day trip will be either on the 16th or the 23rd. Not sure which day yet. If there is enough interest I will post the ride.

New to this forum. I am in Port St. Lucie. I am out of state until the 17th but I plan on riding up to DB...about 2 hours for me...to at least see if I can get a test ride on the '06. Anyone know how to do this in advance? Ride Safe, Ron

I'm over by the airport(OIA). I typicly don't post much on these boards. Just like to read and see what's happening. I ride mostly with a group of sport riders out of Tampa. They like coming over here to ride the Clermont area. So I generally lead them around. Depending on who show's up dictates on how fast the ride will be. The fjr has no problem running with these race bikes. The only time I lose out is when we get above 140. Then they check out. But they don't say up there for long. So it's back to who can hit the corners.
I will be going to Daytona on thursday the 20th for sure. Not sure about Friday the 21st yet. I will be getting up there early. Breakfest in Sanford (CRACKER BARREL)at 6am or alittle before. I'm not sure of the exit # off I-4.
If you want a ride on the new FJR provided they bring it. You need to be at Yamaha's tent by 7:30am. No later than that. Otherwise the line will be too long and the ride will be gone for the day. Yamaha is always in front of the speedway. Breakfest is done in 30 mins so I make Daytona by 7. That will be as good as any meeting spot for the ride up there. Unless you get passed by 2 03's on the way up there. Just fall in line.
