Deadline for WFO-5

What is the deadline to get $$$$$ in and make reservations for WFO-5? I can't seem to locate that info.

I know we're still 6 months out WC (it'll be here before you know it though) and the reason I was asking is that I am trying to work this into another trip planned for the same timeframe in the Mammoth Mountain area but I may not be able to ink all details for at least another month or so.

I had gone to the WFO-5 website and checked the registration form but couldn't locate a date that we need to have our payment in by.

In addition it's not the massive $10 rally fee, it's more of being able to get a reservation at the hotel that I am concerned about.

For that purpose, our Event Contract with the Reno Hilton stipulates that we are authorized to retain the Group Rate room discount until 30 days prior to the event. So around June 27, any remaining rooms (if any) in the block that is allocated for us now will be released for public consumption. At that juncture, you're own your own with regard to room procurement. Mind you, at the point, Reno Hilton rooms will be at their seasonal rates at the height of the tourist season.

Regardless, as far as WFO-5 attendance goes, we will actually entertain walk-ins right up to showtime, but these will be $15 at the door (vice $10 if paid in advance). This gets you in the event, allows you to park indoors among a sea of other FJRs, allows you to purchase banquet tickets on-site, makes you eligible for the massive door prizes (see: Cool stuff at WFO-5 ), etc, etc, etc.
