Hi, I'm new around here so go easy.

Now that Yamaha released the details of the coming model, I have decided on a 2016 FJR1300ES.

Would like opinions and suggestions of a great dealer in the East. Easy to work with and good prices are important. Availability is obviously important, so maybe a high-volume dealer who will have early availability in March?

I'd like to hear from anyone who bought their new FJR under MSRP. How much of a discount were you able to get?

Which dealer(s) do you suggest & why?

I'm in North Carolina and willing to travel a bit, say Ohio to Florida.

My previous mount was a Connie C10 named "Buzzy". The current FJR will be a heck of an upgrade.

Thanks,

AdamD

D & H has been *THE* dealer for best price and early availability of FJRs since the beginning of (FJR) history. They are also the go-to for Yamaha YES (Yamaha Extended Service warranty). D & H will pick people up at the airport and drive them to their shop. D & H typically buys a fairly large number of FJRs and sellls them at about the best price you will ever find. The shop is old school and primarily does business by phone and not internet or email.

Enjoy your soon to be yours FJR!

Thanks for the reply. I will definitely give them a call, at least for the cheap YES if nothing else.

Mountain Motorsports in Lithia Springs.

Ask for Bill Range, tell him Taylor Stukes sent you and promised you a great deal. Fly to ATL and I'll deliver you to the dealer. Ride your brand-spanking-new FJR back to the Triangle.

Bill got me one of the first dozen 2015 FJRs in the USA.

If I can sell my 13 outright I will be flying into Alabama. The dealers in Illinois are all ******. I have family in Huntsville which is not far from Cullman. So who wants to be a slightly used 13?

Good luck with the sale Prestone! There are tons of guys out there riding Gen I & Gen II's who would upgrade for the right price.

Myself, I just got a great deal locally on a new-old stock 2014 FJR-A. I'm going to ride it awhile but will eventually upgrade to the new '16 (or '17) ES model in a year or 2.
