Looking at a 16k service very soon.

Any recommendations for a dealer that's within a two hour ride of Bakersfield, CA., who has experience working on FJR's and won't try to retire on my one service job?

Paste - I've had good luck / service with PowerHouse in Paso Robles. Make sure that only Ivan works on your FJR. Ivan has worked on bikes forever, is 5* rated and I've closely examined his work after service - he, thus in turn Powerhouse, make the grade.

If you are scheduling a service, talk to Ryan, although Shelly is really cute. :dribble:

Yamaha of Rancho Cucamonga gets high marks and I've had pretty good luck with Santa Barbara Motorsports.
I'll second TWN praise of Yamaha of Cucamonga. Jay and Scott are 25 years as 5*****dealers and both are avid racers in both bikes and NASCAR west. Jay is a certified 5***** star mechanic. Bill(head wrench man) is the best in the WEST!! contact 909 987 2411 or https://www.yocracing.com

From Bakersfield, I wouldn't go anywhere else but Y.O.C. Plus, you can have the added benefit of meeting up with some of the nicest CA FJR owners while you're in the neighborhood. They might even pick you up and let you help them do chores while you wait for your bike to be finished.
