dear yamaha,

you say you 'listen' to your consumers, and you made changes for the '06 fjr...

would you please act upon my request:

can we have the frame sliders/rollers that are in the european catalog?

can we have them with our deliveries of the '06's??

nobody wants to drop their new ride, but, well, things happen...

i'm not a business man, so i don't understand the the reasons to not sell things you sell in europe to north america...

i'm just a trained consumer, i buy, buy, buy... but, you've got a short leash on your european yammi dealers, and not one has returned my emails asking them to sell me the parts i want...

so, hey, take some more of my money and let me protect my ride with factory parts...

Okay...I'll play...*Less Weight*, More Power, HO Alt, Color Choice & a 6-speed. And…I am with 2WN, Halle Berry to take delivery.

Colour choice is good -I am waiting for RED.

If there is to be a 6th speed, make it an Overdrive and lower the 1-5 gearing.

Weight loss is always good.

How about a mount for putting the top case / touring trunk over the rear seat for solo rides??? Or a trunk that replaces the rear seat and accepts an optional backrest???

AE instead of EC (Electronic Cruise)? That my friends is the biggest travesty of justice yet. As much as I love my '04, I would not still own it without the EC I installed. I love the twisties, but if I'm droning highways EC is the only way my right hand could survive. So while I'm still cranky - can you smooth out the engine & reduce the vibes to the bars? If Honda could make a '99 CBR XX GT bike silky smooth, why can't Yamaha make an '04+ FJR ST silky smooth?

AE is as gimmicky as BMW's "power-assisted" brakes & electro-centerstands. More an engineering test than truely useful. Add something we all can enjoy like EC.
