We are planning on attending Death Valley days -

Jan 26-28th - riding from Tucson to Death Valley - should we be worried about the weather?

Mainly the cold ! Have to wait 'til closer to see if rain/snow is forcasted. I'm also going with a few from fastour & staying in Pahrump, doing DVD on Sat. & returning home on Sunday, All are welcome to come along !

since you'll be in the area - White Stag will be happening in Beatty that same weekend. Drop by the Stage Coach Inn to visit with the IBA crowd and tip a beer or three.

As for weather.

Take a look atNaked girls dancing around the Rally Bikes and then click on the link to the White Stag. There is a picture of me getting re-fueled by Steve Lots-of-sky in a snow storm. There have been plenty of White Stag's held near this same weekend in which there was multiple inches of snow covering Death Valley - and closed roads all around.

However - most of them have been terrific riding in mild temperatures throughout the valley.

There will be LOTS of bikes in the park - watch the enforcement. They also know that the White Stag is in town and that usually brings out an extra cruiser or two. Just be cool near town.

What - trolling the LDrider list for HID neophytes isn't good enough for you - now you have to post pictures of my beloved Valkyrie almost freakin' frozen up Pole Line road in the midst of a freekin' blizzard - almost out of gas (thanks again Steve) - right after 4 guys went down in the mud on the dirt road that was frozen a couple of hours earlier, but a marginal bit of sun managed to thaw into slime - that rallybastard Almassy sent us up so we could shoot bullets in the mouth of a Monica Lewinsky target.

MAN - WAS THAT FUN -

I think I came in third that year - the year that they only gave out 2 trophies (and the only year that they gave out trophies to just the top Two.

We'll be doing the White stag -shacking up at the Stagecoach

......and since open riding time we'll be checking out the DVdaze gathering as we violate and loiter in Death Valley. We're heading down from Reno on Friday ...not sure yet if fjr or strom ...likey strom since we plan to play in the dirt in DV ........renojohn
