I hope your ok. I was up very close and personal just last night with 2 forest rats, at 9.00pm near the top of Hwy 108. These animals are just not smart about highway traffic.

A happy place for a deer would be in a smoke house in the back yard.

:butcher:

It means that you are in alabama and don't flip any rednecks off.

:trinibob: :****: :***:

I'm not worried about any of the body work, brake lever, case covers, or anything like that. It's when it comes to the frame, forks, and alinment that I dont know what to watch for.

Out of thread and out of mind---

Man, I refuse to watch WWF 'till they put David Duke and Doggie Dog (Snoop) in the same ring, so what's the fun of going trhu' Bama, SiSiPee, or Luziana without flippin' a few rednecks? Who knows, they might appreciate seeing the Whitewing hanging from the gun rack in your cab.

IMHO if any frame castings are broken off, the bike is totalled... even if you know the best welder in the world, an insurance company will total a bike before welding a frame in a stress area...

Lesson learned years ago-don't take sleeper Hemi Road Roach into Alabam and take money from the locals, they will chase you for hours and hours.

I think the best way to deal with a Deer Strike is to negotiate from a position of strength! If a Deer Strike is on the horizon you might want to consider a Deer Lockout.

:bleh: :bleh:

Actually sorry about your troubles. Did the tailgating truck at least stop after you sent Bambi to a better place?

Yes he did. He hit one too. He checked his bumber and split.

Insurance guy called today and said he was going to total it. New '06 is in my future.
