I bought my FJR from a local shop in the mountains near where I live. Well a few months later it closed up. So when my bike started to tick I started to look for a new shop. I posted a question of shops in Colorado that had fixed tickers. A fellow FJR owner posted that he had his fixed at Vickery Motorsports in Denver Colorado.
I took the bike by and they listened to it. Said that it sound like the valve guides and took the bike right then. I did not have to make a appointment to bring it back. Mind you I had called ahead and asked about brining it in to have them listen to it.
Then when I got the TPS recall notice I called them and was informed that they already knew and were just waiting on the TPS. The rest of the bike was already done.
When the bike was done they called. I asked if I could come pick it up at the end of the next week as I had to arrainge for a Trailer to get it back up to the mountains. I asked because of possible storage fees.
So I picked it up, no charges what so ever. The bike sound great and I was treated well considering I did not even buy the bike from them. Well they now have my buisness for anything else I might need, even though they are on the far side of Denver from the Mountains.
